#Molly2 #HalfUp #HalfDown

#Molly2 #HalfUp #HalfDown Hopefully you read my previous post,  Now Trending : #MOLLY   so you have already met my sweet friend. Sponsoring Molly for her high school Scholarship Pageant has been so much fun. And I think the "Trending" theme has been perfect.  With our next look we did a super popular and timeless half up half down.                         So to give it some real boom pow we worked with the golden extensions that we had previously put in her hair.  This gives tons of Oomph to work with as well as adding a lot of texture to her final look. Separating off her crown section, we backcomb to give a base and lift.  Just a few push downs with the teasing comb does all you need.  Then pin this section at the base of the cushion  (where you backcombed).      Working on the right side, take her front section  (leaving  out a few soft strands) and pull it over the pinned cushion and secure.

Now Trending : #MOLLY

Now Trending : #MOLLY Hey everybody, I want to introduce you to a beautiful friend of mine, Molly. Molly is competing in the Scholarship Pageant Program at school and my salon is  so excited to sponsor her.   So for her ad in the program we went with a "trending" theme. We started off by putting a few soft curls in Molly's naturally curly hair.   In the top photo, I love how it shines  and truly looks like ribbons cascading on her shoulders. For her next look we added some clip on extensions.  These are my FAV. So easy to use.  They add fullness and/or length in a snap! Here, we used honey, golden extensions for an added 3 inches. (Please excuse my attire.  Had plans of working out.   Key word there being "plans" .) A few final adjustments and we are ready to check it out. Oh YEA!  She loves it and I do too.   Seriously, a little back combing and clip those babies in and you are rocking'!! Ha

All Out of Love

All Out of Love Oh the joys of knowing some tricks of the trade!   If you've got thin, fine hair, then today's trick may just be what you've been looking for. Clip On Extensions!!! When you see how natural these extensions look,  how much thicker and fuller Tara's hair looks, you will jump on board. Here we are in my old basement.   We lovingly referred to it as  " The Basement Beauty Shop ". Right next to our 1979 Jeep, d irt bikes, work shop, Rip-Sticks, and bicycles, was where I did some magic from time to time.   So get a kick out of the duct work and overall "basement" feel in the background that somehow is just shy of a cool backdrop.   (Notice the length & thickness of Tara's hair) This is Tara who is unbelievably beautiful inside and out.  And I seriously mean that.   She puts up with me and all my goofiness.  She drives a short distance to see me at my new salon just because she loves me
