Hey Hey! So a little while back (over a year ago!) we did a couple of videos about HBI Salon. I have been a slacker and not posted them.  😜 Although I am super excited to bring you guys a variety of new info and different media forms, I definitely am learning as I go.   So be kind.  LOL Here I get to share with you a little of what we do at HBI Salon. We have a blast.  We love what we do.  And we love that we get to pour into each of our friends and clients to make their days better and make them feel beautiful.   Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your beauty regimen! And a huge shoutout to our great friend, Jonathan Barrett for being so encouraging and patient as  I learn this new world of video.  

Do you see this couple?  They look pretty happy don't they? It's so easy to smile like this when you have no idea what is around the corner. Ignorance is bliss ! The photo above was taken in late July of 2012  at our church's Alive event that they hold every year.   Bradley, my husband, and a group of musician friends  that he plays with were performing that night. It's always hot as all get out but is always a fun night.   This event is kind of a kick start back into  fall and the beginning of school and sort of an End of Summer Blast. We love love it. Now these precious kids are ours. Ahhh, it makes me smile just to think that they belong to me.   (Oh yes, and to my Bradley too) This photo was taken about the same time.  Probably more like early August of 2012. They are truly incredible kids and not just because they are mine.   My parents and Brad's parents both agree that they are incredible too...

a jennyleigh salon? Yikes!!! Well this was something I didn't see coming.  At least not at this time in my life. But I am so thankful that God has plans for us that we can't see. Which is probably a good thing.  I would most likely turn and run the other direction.   His timing is perfect and his ways are higher than our ways. This is an opportunity to put into action some of the things that God has  planted in my heart to do.  It's also been the biggest blessing for our family. Over the next couple of posts I will fill you in on how this little adventure came to be. I think you'll get a kick out of the marvelous works that God has done. A story of trust and faith building that I wasn't ready for. A story of stepping one step at a time because that is all that was lit up. God never said he would show us His whole plan but would reveal it as the time was right.  That is where we have been for that last couple of years. A...
