My daugter's dance group did several numbers from "Cats" for their recital this year. They also performed from " The Sound Of Music " and " Mame ".  But I must say, " Cats " was definitely my favorite!  I call her my " Angelical Cat ".  I wish I could show you a pic of the whole group.  They were INCREDIBLE! Have you seen "Cats"?  What's your favorite musical?? 

Ok I have been one CrAzY Mama over here!!  So much fun stuff has been happening with my kids that I have been out of pocket and quite frankly, out of my mind. It's normal life but somehow I manage to make it look soooooo much more complicated than it is. I'm good at that. But before I catch you up on some of the "highlights" I thought I would give you a quick HAIR TIP. TIP When toweling your hair dry, NEVER rough the towel back and forth. This is such a No-NO and people do it all the time. Instead , take your towel and SQUEEZE your hair dry. By holding the towel closed on one section of hair the water is absorbed into the towel.  Roughly moving the towel around trying to use air to dry your hair works but it also makes combing it out afterward a nightmare .  Much like my schedule has been the last month!!! Whew, May is over.  BRING ON SUMMER!!! 

I usually chug a bottle of water (20oz) in the morning and one before going to bed. I try to sip on a bottle of water through the night.  It seems the more you drink - the more you have to have it. It's like a GOOD drug. Water has so many wonderful benefits. Good for detoxing the body. Good for your skin. Weightloss.   And the list goes on and on. So why do I find myself having such a hard time drinking it during the day???!!!!!!!!  What is it about this drink that presents me with such mental anguish?   I used to be addicted to Diet Coke. And I don't mean I just liked it. It was a serious addiction.  I feel awful because I am responsible for my husbands addiction to it too!!  I am not so proud of that. :-( BUT, for almost a year now I have just about put the Diet Coke down for good. So it's all good, right?    Welllllll, seems I replaced it with Dt Mt Dew.   Ok I swapped one ...

Today's do is the Braided Bun. Sooo cute and sooo easy! What do you think? Would you wear the Braided Bun??

Here's another cute ponytail option for summer straight from my very own fashion diva.  My daughter had her hair in a low, loose ponytail and lifted the ends up and tucked it into the space between the elastic and the nape of the head. I think it turned out really cute. What do you think?

Ok, so for a while I had been ready to lose my long locks but I think I'm past it now. ( Well, at least for a little while anyway. ) You know how it is, about the time your ready for the big chop; you wake up one morning and your hair has magically grown to a workable length.  So now I'm pretty excited to work these styles for the spring and summer.            I am LOVING this ponytail tie .  Isn't it cute and how easy will this be??  I'm thinking of all kinds of materials that can make this simple look go with all different kinds of outfits.   A leather strap, a sheer ribbon, satin ribbon (obvious choices) but what about tennie shoe ties for post workout?  Braided cording?  You've got an imagination, I'm sure you can come up with a bunch of ideas too.  You'll have to send some to me and let me see how creative you can be!!    jennyleighsblog@gmail.com So this look g...

So this morning I spent a little time learning about a fairly new Italian color line. It has won The Readers Choice award the last two years from a respected Salon industry magazine.  Chris was our design rep from JKS and he was very good. Not sure I'm ready to take the plunge yet but I'll def keep investigating it. I like what I saw but had to leave early so I didn't get to see the final wrap-up. I'm sure she (the model)  looked great. Being a Super Mom sometimes requires leaving things early in order to keep the title,  so that's what I did.  I stopped by Subway on my way home and was introduced to 3 cutie patootie's who were working. The giggles and customer service were in full force. A most enjoyable visit fo Sho . Then I walk in my home to see a VERY common site in my house. And one that I love immensely. Off to get my kiddos and it will have been a good day.   Hope yours has been good too!
